Jackie Riggs Hutchinson is a native Oklahoman who, for more than 40 years, has taught the game of golf to thousands of men, women, boys, and girls. She is known as a “teacher’s teacher.”

As a young woman, Jackie became an outstanding player under the guidance of Labron Harris Sr., the men’s golf coach at Oklahoma A&M.  In the mid 1960’s, Jackie gave up her amateur status and began her teaching career on Harris’ staff at Lakeside Golf Course in Stillwater.

After moving to Oklahoma City, Jackie continued her teaching career at Lincoln Park Golf Course and Lake Hefner Golf Course, where she still teaches today.

Jackie’s teaching accomplishments have benefited both men and women.  Her love of the game, her understanding of the game and her ability to communicate has gained her a national reputation and has opened doors for other women and set the guidelines for their career opportunities and successes.
